Dalbo Inc. purchased three units from Insta-Heet. We
have one on a tractor trailer that works really well. This
one has a switch
in the cab so the driver can leave the unit on while loaded
and traveling to unload, which keeps our valves thawed. The other
two units are set up where a person has to hook it up to their
vehicle battery. That is a good safety feature for disposals
and production water. The units do require a little time to
work
when used in extreme cold temperatures. Although they do thaw
out the valves on a tractor trailer or a production tank without
using an open flame.
